The India International Friendship Society, New Delhi, felicitated Jayanta and Pranaame Bhagawati on 11 July, 2007, by presenting the Rashtriya Gaurav Award for meritorious service, outstanding performance and remarkable role in the field of performing arts. The occasion was graced by Honb’le former Governor of Assam and Tamil Nadu, Dr. Bhisma Narain Singh, and G.V.G. Krishnamurti, the former Election Commissioner of India as Chief Guests.
