Similar to 2007, this year also, the Greater Seattle Assamese Community celebrated Rongali Bihu on April 26, 2008 at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center, Redmond, Washington. Vice-President Mr. Munin Talukdar inaugurated the cultural evening.
The cultural Secretary Suraj Gogoi carefully selected few new programs to make the cultural evening very memorable The surprise North Indian dance program by Babli, Ponkhi and Sahin really captivated everyone. The most enjoyable moment of the Bihu Husori was when Aroti Barua joined the dance program.
