Middle aged and elderly women have long used the parasols for protective purposes. Recently that young woman have fully seized upon parasols as a fashion accessory. Women always favor fair skin. Number of women of all ages who worry about the sun exposure continues to grow. Varity of parasols are available in the market. They are of different shades & designs. Traditional colors are black, white and blue in dark shades. New umbrellas have come which provide sun protection mainly from UV radiations where umbrella cloth is chemically treated.
One of the main draw back of the traditional umbrella is, it provides shade but darkens the face of the user. Fairness of the user is slightly reduced due the shade. Women of fair skin will appear to be of darker skin to the observer. This will have adverse psychological effect among the user especially in young generation.
To retain the fairness while using the umbrella & also get protected from UV radiation there is need for an umbrella, which has both qualities. This new umbrella will help in keeping the glow of user's skin & also protect from UV radiations. User's complexion appears to be of fair skin under the shade of this umbrella. The umbrella is made of muga silk fabric.”
