The “Glory of India Award” ceremony was held at the Radison SAS Portman Hotel in the heart of the West End of Central London.

Non Resident Assamese (NRI) have been trying to contribute to their state in whatever capacity they can; in the fields of basic education, technology, medicine, and business. It is expected that these ideas and practices would bring tangible result in coming days. This is an ongoing process and may even take decades to attain, however we often come across news or articles from Assamese media often showing cynicism.
